When there are just 2 weeks left for the exam, stop studying new chapters and just focus on revising topics that you have studied earlier. If there is some time left from your revision plan, then you should focus on a new chapter which is a little easier. Both these sections are important to crack the NTSE stage 2 exam because students need to pass both MAT and SAT sections separately to be considered for merit. In MAT, questions from quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and logical deduction are asked in the exam and it consists of 100 questions. To strengthen your MAT preparation, focus on revising and memorize the important formulas, solve puzzles and riddles related to logical reasoning, etc. In SAT, questions asked from mathematics, science, and social science, which also consists of 100 questions. To prepare for this section, students need to study from class 9th and 10th NCERT books.

When you go deeper into your studies and try to evaluate your performance, you will find your weakness. For both MAT and SAT sections in the stage 2 exam, candidates are given 120 minutes time for each section and there are 100 questions in each section. So, you need to practice attempting the full paper in the given time. Taking a mock test and solving previous year’s papers will help you to find out how much time you take to solve one question. You can also use a stopwatch to track that how much time you take to solve a question, it will help you to manage time better for the final exam.
